The King’s Throne

I remember watching episodes of This Old House, and thinking "Why do folks create ridiculous themes in their homes?" Fast forward to this winter, and I'm furiously looking for ways to upgrade parts of our abode into a farmyard barn! I like the farmhouse style and knew it would show best in our tiny half bath.

Not much had been done to the visitor stall since the condo was built in the mid 80s. A fresh coat of paint, some tile flooring, and a newer toilet seems to be the transition into the modern era.

After pouring over home remodeling magazines, visiting countless home decor stores, and pinning 100s of Pinterest ideas, I am over the moon with the new bathroom!

Lots of visits to Home Depot scored a butcher block just the right size plus adjustments for the new countertop. Stain and varnish, new paint on the old cabinet, some new hardware, and a second hand sink from the Habitat Humanity Restore helped this project along. The wood style wall covering, and brick tiles are peel and stick from Amazon, while the light shades got a new color of paint.
